Zhang Ahua founded the Yinxian Maimianqiao Plastic Factory, a workshop-style factory of over 40 square meters with more than 20 workers, producing pagoda thermometers, with the first sales to Beijing.
The Yinxian Maimianqiao Plastic Factory expanded to 1,000 square meters, with an output value of 1 million yuan. Products successfully entered the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the Great Hall of the People, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Zhongnanhai.
Ningbo Huayi Mould and Plastic Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established, mainly producing plastic parts, auto parts, and automotive lamps.
Junhe products entered the international market, establishing cooperative relationships with multinational companies in Germany, France, and others.
Ningbo Junhe Pump Holding Co., Ltd. was established, beginning the construction of a new factory on the west section of Yinxian Avenue. An investment of 40 million yuan covered an area of 27,000 square meters with 300 employees, achieving an output value exceeding 100 million yuan that year.
Ningbo Junhe Aluminum Co., Ltd. was established (now renamed Junhe Plastics).
Junhe underwent a shareholding reform and was renamed Junhe Pump Industry Co., Ltd. In the same year, it was awarded the Zhejiang Province Famous Brand Product title.
The independent brand strategy was implemented, and Junhe brand pumps began to enter both domestic and international markets. The company also received certification for its R&D center in the same year.
